Our Beginner Group Gutiar course has been written for those who have never played the guitar before. It's a 4-week course consisting of FOUR 60-minute classes. Our BGG course includes 2 method books as well as a practice CD. Classes are limited to 4 students.

0 CASUAL GROUP GUITAR
a great way to stay in shape


Casual Group Guitar is a complete practice session under the guidance of our teachers. These classes are a great way to stay on top of your playing while progressing a bit each week. Like a yoga class, CGG is a 'complete workout'. And like a yoga class, you get better every time you participate.

What will we do in class?
First: warm up exercises
usually 5 to 10 minutes
Second: 'New Skills' i.e. chords, scales and/or technique,
'New Skills' are always specific to the song we are learning usually 10 to 20 minutes
Third: Work on a song
usually 30 minutes

Classes are organized to accommodate students of varying degrees of skill and experience. We have recommended skill levels for each of our sessions. Our lesson plans are based on easy recognizable guitar-based songs, i.e Jack Johnson, Van Morrison, Eric Clapton and more.

Students will often alternate from week to week between Private Lessons and our CGG classes. We embrace this, so we try to keep the same songs from week to week in our CGG classes. Consistency is very important.

0 GROUP KEYBOARD CLASS
super fun, very practical


Group Keyboard classes are an invitation only affair. Led by Dan Biederman, students will learn the practical ins and outs of playing keyboard parts. Students can expect to be at different 'keyboard stations' during the class. These stations consist of various synths and vintage keyboards and effects.

Group Keyboard classes are fun and informative. They're meant for Producers and players alike who want to be more adept at using the keyboard/controller in the studio. Classes are 90 minutes.

0 VOICE LAB
a bit of real world experience


Vocal labs are designed to support private lessons and develop your performance skills.
 
Labs are designed for students to improve musicianship skills and diversify their working knowledge of additional styles.
 
Each week we will focus on two of these points: (or you can say for 8 weeks we'll cover these points....)

We welcome all different genres of music. Each student should prepare two songs to perform in front of an audience. We will then discuss the performance in a comfortable, environment with the goal being to help each other through healthy criticism.
